About

I am a Ukrainian-born and Brooklyn-based writer, editor, content developer, and occasional translator with over a decade of experience in print, video, and digital media. I've worked as a journalist for Voice of America, led the editorial team at microlearning app Uptime, and written TED-Ed animated lessons on science, history, and everything else under the sun.

On my own time, I've published long-form opinion and analysis on subjects like the history of masculinity, the ideology of the tech industry, and political extremism in music scenes, with articles in American Affairs, The Point, and The Battleground. Along the way, I've spoken at academic conferences and panels as well as being a guest and co-producer on podcasts. As a native Russian speaker, I've also done some translation work, ranging from poetry to interviews with armed separatists in the Donbas.

While my career has taken many twists and turns, the common thread has always been finding ways to turn complex information into compelling narratives. I'm currently available for new projects and collaborations, so don't hesitate to reach out.
